Tom Gist - No Plan B

Here is Tom Gist's new video for some upcoming mixtape. I really like this track , minus the random freestyle at the end. Tom Gist's best tracks are the ones about real shit. I'm not a fan of his "Gangsta" tracks because they're no where near as good as the ones about his struggles.

Single of the Week #5

This weeks single is from Brotha Lynch Hung who recently signed with Tech N9ne's, Strange Music label. It's a preorder bonus track for his new album, Dinner and a Movie that comes out March 23rd of this year. ThankMeLater put me on to his Season of the Siccness album last year and I really enjoyed it. I think Strange Music is a perfect label for him. Their beats will fit his style perfectly. He recently put out a Mixtape prequel to his album, entitled, The Appetizer. Download the mixtape here.

Mariah Carey feat. Nicki Minaj - Up Out My Face

Not a fan of Mariah at all but I am a fan of her looks. I'm mainly posting this cuz the vid is pretty dope and Nicki kills it. This shit looks like it could be a Target commercial with all that red and white. Am I the only one who thought that? SMH @ Nick Cannon at the end. How long does he really think that's gonna last?
Oh yeah Nicki's also mad hot in the vid. I wonder if she ate Mariah's "box" out yet? lol

Mariah Carey feat. Nicki Minaj - Up Out My Face

Tony Yayo - Bullets Whistle

Check out this new Tony Yayo vid. He's showing off all his Guns (no rocket launchers) and rapping to his new single off his street LP entitled, Gun Powered Guru. Looks like Yay took some notes from Fif and wanted to put out a street album on par with War Angel. Will it be as good? Guess we'll find out soon enough (February 9th to be exact).

Coming Tuesday...

On Tuesday, February 2nd, I will be releasing a mixtape I've been meaning to do for years. It's called R.I.P. Shady Records and features recent songs from all 3 of the dropped Shady Records artists, Obie Trice, Bobby Creek, and Stat Quo. Shady Records could've been huge but constant push backs on everyone's projects led them to their demise. Below is the cover.

Ludacris (Feat. Rick Ross & Twista) How Low (Official Remix)

Ludacris links up with Rick Ross and Twista for a official remix of "How Low". All have nice verses. Ludacris & Shawnna’s Battle Of The Sexes album drops March 16th! Enjoy!

Music Video Weekly #77

The 77th Music video is Kanye's first single from Late Registration. I'll never forget seeing this the first time it premiered on 106 and Park while waiting for my friend to come over. As soon as he came over we put this song on blast, back to back. A few days later the Remix with Jay-Z came out and we were both bugging. Earlier this week I got into a couple arguments on Facebook about Kanye being a good artist or not and I had a couple haters. I told them straight up that due to his creativity, music videos, song content, and production skills that he was easily one of the best artists out. They never responded. I'm impatiently waiting for the new Kanye album. I know its probably going to be one of his bests yet.

Kanye West - Diamonds Are Forever

Fredro Starr - Tales of the Industry Pt. 10 - 12

Here are parts 10 - 12 of the Tales of the Industry series, narrated by Fredro Star. Sorry I'm so far behind posting these. Episode 10 is about the Westcoast East Coast beef. Episode 11 is about JMJ while episode 12 is about Biggie. Supposedly they'res gonna be a hiatus until the next few episodes but I'll keep you locked when they start coming back on.

Hands On: Freeway & Jake One - Stimulus Package

Wow! This album packaging for Freeway and Jake One's new album, The Stimulus Package, is sick! This is got to be one of the coolest album casing ideas ever. Brent Rollins, a Hip Hop designer came up with the idea so mad props to him. I'm going to be honest with you, I probably wasn't going to purchase this album. After seeing how dope the packaging is though, I'm definitely buying it. Freeway deserves it after all, seeing as he's been putting out dope tracks every single month.

Styles P - Send a Kite (feat. Dwayne Collins)

Here is Styles P's new video for "Send a Kite" off his upcoming DJ Green Lantern mixtape, The Green Ghost Project, which comes out February 2nd. I've been a fan of Styles P ever since I heard his Gangster and a Gentlemen album in like late 2008. I thought it was a much better effort than Jadakiss' first album.

Skillz - '09 Rap Up

Skillz aka the rapper most of you (including me) only listen to once a year for his Rap Up song just put out a video for 2009's version. I honestly felt he left a lot of shit out. How did he not mention Slaughterhouse or the Joe Budden/Raekwon beef? Any how for all you peeps who still haven't heard it, here it is in video form.

Lil Wayne - Money On My Mind

Here is an unreleased video from Tha Carter II, directed by Jordan Tower Films. Nothing special just your typical Lil Wayne music video filmed in Miami. Rebirth is finally coming out February 2nd. You should definitely go get it cause it's way better than you think. I've been bumping it for a minute.

Charles Hamilton - The Bonus & Unreleased Vol. 3 [NoDJ] (Mixtape)

Well here it is! Tape is dope, like I said with the last two, I made these to give new listeners a chance to hear the great musician we know as Charles Hamilton. And did it by putting all his unreleased and 'bonus' tracks on em. Again, like all my tapes, EVERY track is the best possible quality and as NoDJ as they can get. And if you like these tapes and want more, Charles has a shit load of mixtapes (and 3 digital albums) you can check out. So even if you are a big Hamilton fan and have all these tracks, its still nice to have em all organized and ready for your iPod/MP3 Player. Enjoy!

Normalcy, is that normal enough for you? OOOOW!

Jay-Z, Bono, & Rihanna - Stranded

Lastnight at the Haiti Benefit, Jay-Z, Bono, Rihanna, and The Edge performed an original song dedicated to the victims of the tragic earthquake. Please show your support and purchase this song as 100% of its profits go to help the effort in Haiti.

All The Way Turnt Up Rmx (f/ T-Pain)

I know I'm hella late with this one but damn this song is the definition of a Club Banger. I first heard the beat on J.R. Writer's, Cinecrack 1.5 mixtape and didn't know it wasn't his song. Anyways it looks like T-Pain is putting together some good acts. This song gets a ton of play on the radio down here in Atlanta. The best part of this song is probably T-Pains verse. Will One Chance be a One Hit Wonder like The Shop Boyz and "Party Like a Rockstar?" I guess we'll see.

Single of the Week #4

This week's single is from Nas and Damien Marley. They have a new album coming out sometime this year called Distant Relatives. It's been pushed back many times and there was even rumors Def Jam was trying to stop it from coming out. After hearing this song Def Jam must be retarded. This album is sounding really good. At one time I didn't really have any expectations for the album but now they're pretty high.

Ludacris - How Low

I decided to get all his recent freestyles this week and make a little mixtape outta them. It came out pretty sick if you ask me. Volume was pretty wack on a few songs so I adjusted that. I also added a bonus track for you all. Some may have heard it, some may have not. I don't care as long as you have cause its dope! lol. So download it and Enjoy! OWWWW!!

Single of the Week #3

This weeks single is from T-Rock's new prequel album of sorts, Life Lessons (Bootleg). It can be purchased here. I've heard it about three or four times and I really liked it. It was released because T-Rock claimed a copy of his cd got leaked in Atlanta so he decided to scrap his original album and make a new one. To me it seems more like a way of promoting his upcoming album. Anyhow Life Lessons: The Burning Book Chapter II comes out in stores February 9th. Be sure to cop that. T-Rock is hands down one of the most slept on artists in the South. I'm really glad I decided to listen to him on a whim one day. If you haven't heard his collaboration cd with Lord Infamous & II Tone, Blood Money, then you need to!

Dirty Money - Angels Remix (feat. Rick Ross)

If you haven't heard this song yet then I don't know where the hell you've been. Diddy took over the WorldStarHipHop banner for a week with the original vid! This is a very different type of song for Diddy but he's proving he can branch out into other Genres and still remain dope. I'm pretty excited for Last Train to Paris and what it has to offer. Big shoutout to Ross. He bodies the track. I'm also going to include the original video at the bottom cause I feel ashamed that I never posted it last year.

Hot Rod - It Just Feels Good

Here's Hot Rod's new mixtape. It's got a very laid back feel and is a little different style tape then Hot Rod typically puts out. Nonetheless it's still hot. He keeps it humorous and cool at the same time. This is a feel good mixtape. Hot Rod is proving he's a very versatile artist.

Young Buck - There Will Be Blood Vol. 1 (NoDJ) [Re: Release] (Mixtape)

Ok ok, I decided to re make this mixtape. Put all his new tracks on this (2010 and a few 2009 tracks) and this version sounds better than the other tape IMO. This mixtape could so easily be made into an album. Its just that dope. Look out for Vol. 2 and 3 coming very soon. Those will have the rest of his 2009 (handful of 2008 tracks) and depending if Buck leaks anymore tracks before I release em, i'll add them for sure. Knuckles Hamilton. Wordap. POOOOOOOW.

Young Buck - There Will Be Blood Vol. 1 (Mixtape

The latest mixtape from me is a project I have been working on for the last couple of weeks. This dude has released so much music I acually have about 4 volumes planed for this. Even if you already have some or all of the songs, I tagged them all proper and it is iPod/mp3 player ready (like all my tapes). Volume on each track is perfect (thanks to MP3 Gain) and every track is NoDJ and CDQ (or just the best quality that has leaked). So download and enjoy!

Few weeks ago I posted the leaked version of this track but it wasn't 100% final and mastered I guess. So here is the official final mastered version that Atlantic decided to let loose. Kind of weird they did though having Lupe get so mad over the first one leaking. Oh well, its an extremely dope track so it passes in my book! Enjoy!

Juicy J & Project Pat - Break It Down/Get Yo Ass..

Here's a double dose of Juicy J and Project Pat vids. They've been putting out a lot lately but most of them have been sub par. Here is two of the most recent ones that are actually alright. The first one is from the Cutthroat mixtape with DJ Smallz. The second is from Play Me Some Pimpin Pt. 2. Juicy J just tweeted that he's planning a mini movie for Cutthroat. I'm guessing it may have something to do with the music videos. We'll see. BTW I'm still not feeling V-Slash, he's she's ass.

Lil Wayne - On Fire

First and foremost shoutout to 2DopeBoyz and OnSmash for letting me know this vid was out. Anywho it looks like we've got our second video to the album that keeps on getting pushed back. I actually really liked Rebirth. I was pleasantly surprised because my expectations were so low. And it's not just the Eminem song on the album that's hot. I can listen to it all the way through. I assume when it finally does come out though (in retail form) we'll see more tracks which is cool.

Music Video Weekly #74

This weeks music video is from one of hip hops best albums, Talib Kweli & Mos Def - Blackstar. Everyone's hyped up about the new Hitek and Talib Kweli album but lets be honest what everyone really wants is a new Blackstar album. Mos Def and Talib Kweli are probably the best duo to ever have 1 cd (except maybe Smilez and Southstar).

Blackstar - Redefiniton

Juelz Santana feat. Jim Jones - Harlem Forever

Caution this dope video contains 5 secs of nudity for you workin ass folks. It's a pretty cool video though. I like the way they filmed it. This was probably one of the better Forever freestyles out. Kinda cool how they made it their own. This is probably from that Juelz Santana mixtape thats never coming out.

Rick Ross - Mayback Music 2.5 (Feat. Pusha T)

Here is Ross' new music video to the Mayback Music 2.5 song. The original appears on his latest album, Deeper than Rap. I really love this song and supposedly a part 3 is going to be on his upcoming cd, Tephlon Don. I can't wait. Ross is probably the dopest fraudulent rapper of all time.

The hottest mixtape to come out in December came out the 31st. Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek The RE:Union Mixtape just barely made it. It's got classic tracks, new tracks, and unreleased tracks. Slim Thug - Dedicated To My Haters

Slim Thugga!! Track right here is sick! Slim Thug is one of my favorite artists in the game, same with Chamillionaire, both them cats are my favorite from the south! And if you like to support good music, go cop that "Boss Of All Bosses" by Slim Thug. And that Venom album dropping in March by Mr. Chamillitary Mayne! Enjoy.

Hot Rod - The Final Promo

Hot Rod has been one of my favorite artists since, I heard his first mixtape, The Pre-Fastlane. He didn't quite generate enough buzz with his single "Be Easy" and hasn't really had a chance to prove himself since then. He's really been grinding a ton in the past few years though. Whether it's dropping a couple tracks, checking in with his fans and haters on SOHH or touring over seas, he's keeping his name alive as well as getting that international gwop. A lot of people seemed to have written him off but he's still got a lot to bring to the table. He's also had a couple single worthy songs such as I Like to F*ck and Bump My Sh*t. I know if 50 gave him another chance to shine he would pull though. He knows a lot more about the rap game now then he did years before.

Hot Rod - The Final Promo

P.S. Check out his new freestyle over Forever with Ca$his.

Hot Rod - Better than Y'all (feat. Ca$his)

Jay-Z - On to the Next One (feat. Swizz Beatz)

Jay finally did a video for one of my favorite joints of Blueprint 3. I love the beat and Jay wrecks it. This is totally a Ruff Ryders type beat tho, which really makes me want a remix. I could see DMX spazzin on this shit. BP3 is in stores now but you already know that.
