Single of the Week #64

This week's single is from G-unit Affiliate, Hot Rod. He's been keeping busy by touring overseas and getting that international gwop. He's one of my favorite artists out at the moment and I probably got every track he released since being on G-unit. I look forward to his debut album coming out. Until then I'll continue to download his mixtapes. He's coming out with a new mixtape soon called Blame it on the Swag. I'll be the first to let you know when it comes out. In the mean time follow him on Twitter.

Z-Ro - Relvis Presley

First off big shoutouts to ScewHeadsOnly for telling me about this mixtape. Also shoutout to Cocaine Blunts and their Ro of the Week feature. Without that I would've never probably even listened to Z-Ro. I know Z-Ro's Heroin album was supposed to come out a couple days ago but it never did. It's probably due to the bullshit thats goin on with Z-Ro and Rap-A-Lot at the moment. Any how Z-Ro released a new mixtape to hold the fans over. It goes by the name of Relvis Presley. It originally leaked in a screwed version but I unscrewed it so people can have the oportunity to listen to it the way they want. I included both versions. The original Screwed as well as the version I unscrewed. Quality is decent on both of them. Tracklist is the same for both CDs.

Lloyd Banks - V5 Update

I bet most of y'all are wondering where the hell Lloyd Bank's new mixtape, V5 is right? Well banks said 50 had to listen to it first to make sure he's not throwing away any future album material. And we also can't forget that Before I Self Destruct promo started and it was all eyes on 50. Well as the time passed Banks kept recording and he says he's going to continue to record for it until it is released. Now it looks like it will be coming out sometime in December so keep a heads out for that. Below are 2 tweets from Bank's twitter talking about the mixtape. Also since I'm feeling thankfrul for all my fans, I'm giving you a Throwback Banks track as well. This track is so rare, even Shock (Wordaps Lloyd Banks Enthusiast) didn't have it.

Music Video Weekly #68

I've been listening to a lot of Chi-town music as of late, so here's a video from Twista. It's off his Kamikaze album, and was one of his biggest singles. If you haven't heard this album, you need to cause its one of the few albums that I can say, I enjoy every track on. It's basically great production along with Twista rapping his ass off on every track. Theres also a slew of features like: Kanye, T.I., Ludacris, and Jaime Foxx.

Twista - Overnight Celebrity (feat. Kanye West)

KRS-One & Buckshot - Survival Skills

Peep KRS and Buckshots new video for "Survival Skills" off their new album, Survival Skills. If you haven't heard this album you definitely need to check it out. The beats and lyrics are very good. I didn't think this would be a good album because I'm not a fan of either of them, but I checked it out on a whim and really liked it.

KRS-One & Buckshot - Survival Skills

As always, props to OnSmash for the video.

Obie Trice - I Am (Prod. By MoSS)

Here is another track off Obie’s upcoming album, produced solely by MoSS. Special Reserve is dropping December 15th! Be on the lookout. He's one of my favorite artists. Preview the whole album here!

50 Cent Week: The Final Post

Here is the final post for 50 Cent week. Yessir it's officially over. I can't leave without posting the fans pick for their favorite 50 Cent song. The votes were a pretty close tie between "Many Men" and "Hustlers Ambition." In the end "Many Men" pulled through. I myself love both songs but if given a choice I would have went with "Many Men" as well. This song was an instant favorite while listening to Get Rich or Die Trying. The video was really innovative as well. It was almost like a trailer to his movie, Get Rich or Die Trying, which didn't come out until a few years later. Here is the music video along with the single. Also as a bonus I through in the rare remix to 21 Questions. Before I Self Destruct is in stores now. Pick it up here for only $6.99!

The Roc-A-Fella Beef Continued

Here's another update on whats going on between 50, Beanie, and Jay-Z. Two new tracks leaked recently of Beanie goin in at Jay. Beanie is holding it down in my opinion. He's constantly putting out consistent disses while Jay is ignoring him. If Jay continues to ignore him, he loses. I mean if he doesn't respond to Beanie, he really doesn't have anything worthwhile to say does he? Na he don't want it with the Mac man. Anyways last night at the American Music Award's Jigga attempted to send shots at 50 by saying "Men lie, numbers don't." I can't wait till 50 fires back with the unit! Everyone else formerly in the Roc is staying neutral, besides Bleek who is taking Jay's side, but it would be very interesting to hear them get involved. I truly believe they would take Beanie's side over Jay's. Am I the only blogger who's takin Beanies side? It seems like everyones just siding with Jay cause of his discography.

Beanie Sigel - Think Big
Beanie Sigel - How I Can Kill a Jigga Man

"Tell Bleek stop bitchin stop pissin,
i bear long arms like scott pippen,
stop shit short like cal ripkin,
this is not your sport, i post pivot,
peep how i back down Jigga,
put my nuts on that n!gga neck,
shoot up the roc, never hit the net"

Shoutouts to 2Dope on the tracks and RapRadar for the Jay acceptance speech.

Fredro Starr - Tales of the Industry Pt. 5 & 6

Here are parts 5 and 6 of Fredro Starr's Tales of the Industry series. For some reason they skipped part 4, which really pisses me off cause it sounded dope in the preivew. Anyways Part 6 is about his favorite studio sessions. He talks about working with Eminem, Big Pun, and DMX. On part 6 he talks about his short beef with ODB. On Episode 7, coming next week Starr talks about the late Jam Master Jay. If you haven't seen this series you need to catch up. This is a great series and Fredro Starr is one of the coolest story tellers.

Eminem & 50 Cent - Crack a Bottle/Forever

Here is Eminem's performance from the 2009 American Music Awards. It was really great to see Eminem and 50 Cent on stage again. I know a lot of people don't like "Crack a Bottle" but I've always liked it. It's still Eminem's most successful single from Relapse as well. Relapse Refill comes out December 21st. It features 5 new Eminem songs along with, "Forever" and "Taking My Ball."

Eminem & 50 Cent - Crack a Bottle/Forever

Updated with better quality thanks to RapRadar.

50 Cent Week: JMJ Demo Tape

Single of the Week #63

I almost forgot to do a single of the week amongst all my posts. Well here it goes. This weeks single is from Joe Budden. He recently dropped his best track of the year..yes I'm serious. This reminds me of some Mood Muzik type shit. He killed it on this. I musta played it like 10 times when it first leaked. The Great Escape comes out sometime next year. Let the music speak for itself and listen.

Slaughterhouse - Microphone

Here is Slaughterhouse's new video for Microphone off their self titled debut. I still think they're one of the best groups in hip hop history so please die slow if you don't agree. To be honest I'm not to fond of the video, the lighting effect kinda hurts my eyes. Anyways its worth checking out if your a fan of Slaughterhouse. Go pick up their album and support real hip hop if you already haven't.

Eminem - Months After Relapse Trailer

The long awaited sequel to complete the trilogy is coming soon. Featuring Em's latest singles (including his first from Relapse: Refill) plus music from Shady Records artists and D12. 50 Cent Week: Favorite 50 Song Pt. 5

I had to go with this track!! Eminem & 50 Both Kill This! This track was highly rumored as being called "Norman Bates Motel" after countless fake snippets and fake instrumental leaks, the official track is on 50 Cent's 4th album (Before I Self Destruct) 50 holds his own with Marshall on this one!! Even throws some shots at Rick Ross @ the end of the Track. To Quote Eminem "Man these are average raps I’m keepin the savage batch hidden" This is not the last time you will hear 50 and Eminem on the same track! Before I Self Destruct is a hot album! one of the hardest albums to drop in 2009! One Of The Top 3 New York Albums. 50 Showed everyone hes still got it, and made everyone forget about Grey Hova's Blue Print 3.

Throwback Track Of The Week

This weeks track is from Philly's own, Slaughter Rico. This rrack was of his best of mixtape which came out a while ago, Slaughter Rico hasn't really made much noise in the Philly Rap Scene in recent years but youtube him you will see him in many battles i don't think he ever lost a battle.

50 Cent Week: Favorite 50 Song Pt. 4

Ok my favorite song off of Curtis would have to be "Touch The Sky." I Love this song, last song off the album and it is just a dope song, the beat bangs. It is a perfect "50" song. Like Neomerge said, "Amusement Park" is one of his worst songs he has ever made, and it is on this album. I am not a fan of that song or the video, both lame.

Fabolous - Imma Do It (feat. Kobe)

Here is Fab's new video for "Imma Do It" off his album, Loso's Way. This has got to be one of the top New York albums to come out this year. 50's is my favorite but Loso's Way and The Last Kiss are close seconds. A lot of people say this album was too soft and had too many love songs. I don't think that at all, thought it woulda helped if there were less RNB Choruses. Any how with all these videos he's released I think it would be cool for him to re-release Loso's Way with all the videos on DVD. I would certainly buy it. Look out for Fab's new mixtape with DJ Drama, dropping sometime in December.

50 Cent Week: Favorite 50 Song Pt. 3

Here is my favorite track from Massacre, has got to be "I'm Supposed to Die Tonight". It's 50 Cent and his gangsta rap at its finest. I remember when this cd leaked, I didn't like it much at all but after a week or so it grew on me. It sure as hell didn't live up to Get Rich or Die Trying but it had its own sound, like all of 50's albums do. Shock was supposed to do this post but he got hung up, his favorite song was "Baltimore Love Thing". Me and him both agree that song went over people's heads. The only song I really hate on The Massacre is "Candy Shop." That song and "Amusement Park" gotta be the two most annoying songs of his career. Anyways chill and enjoy this track. Don't forget to buy Before I Self Destruct, in stores now.

Obie Trice - Special Reserve (The 411)

Here is a video explaining how Obie Trice's new Street Album, Special Reserve, came about. If I understood the video right, all of these are tracks he recorded right before signing to Shady Records. MoSS was aparently a little upset that none of his tracks made Cheers, save "Make it to 8 Mile" which was only on the international version. Anyways MoSS called him up recently to see if he was down with putting this album out and Obie agreed. I think it will be very interesting to hear these tracks. The two tracks in the video sound crazy. Obie's one of my favorite artists, so I'll definitely be buying this. MoSS is a beast on the boards. I wish they would throw in "Well Known Asshole" and "Gimme My Dat Back" on the album, but I guess those have been heard too many times.

Obie Trice - Special Reserve (The 411)

Download his first single, "Got Hungry," here.

Ja Rule - Father Forgive Me

I know this is not the week to post a Ja Rule video but I can't hate on great music. Here is Ja's video for "Father Forgive Me," off Ja Rule's unreleased album The Mirror. If you haven't heard this album you are doing yourself a disservice as a hip hop fan. This is one of the best albums to come out in the last few years. Every time I hear it I marvel at the fact it was never released. The album is great from start to finish. This song was one of the most praised songs in reviews for the album, Jay-Z even was quoted as liking it. Here is a fresh link to the album if you haven't heard it. This version is in higher quality then the one I previously posted. Venni Vetti Vecci 2010 comes out next year. It's supposed to be 3 Discs of new material but to be honest I think it would be dope if one of the discs was The Mirror.

Juelz Talks I Can't Feel My Face

I Can't Feel My Face, the collaboration album between Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana has been pushed back so many times, its hard to believe it will actually ever come out. Everytime I start to lose faith in that project, a brand new song comes out and restores said faith. In this video Juelz Santana talks about that project as well as his new mixtape, The Regan Era, which is supposed to drop Thanksgiving. It's been a while since I heard anything from Juelz solo wise, so I'm pretty excited. Let's hope this actually comes out. The mixtape will be a prequel to his much anticipated 3rd album, Born to Lose, Built to Win.

50 Cent Week: Favorite 50 Song Pt. 2

Ok well my album choice would have to be Get Rich, Or Die Tryin. I know this is, would be alot of people's choice right here, but this album is too dope to not pick it. My favorite song on this album? Idk, i love every song, but the one that sticks out to me would have to be "Back Down". Yes Back Down, when the Ja and 50 beef was at its peek. And yes 50 (And Shady!) killed him (sorry Ja stans) but this song is beyond dope. The beat? Yes. Dopeness. Dre killed that beat.

Roc-A-Fella Update

Here's whats been going on with the Roc lately. Jay still hasn't taken the time to make a response to Beanie. Sigel is already working on his third track. I think this ones gonna be his hottest yet. See the video below. Also Dame Dash recently spoke on the Dynasty and former artists, including Beanie and Jay. Dame also speaks on wanting Cam and Jim to work things out. I'm glad he's on the same page as all the other Dipset fans. Peep that as well.

50 Cent Week: Favorite 50 Song Pt. 1

Ok so we all decided to pick an album and talk about our favorite song from it. I chose my favorite album of his, Power of the Dollar. Most people would think this shouldn't count since it never actually got released, but it's too good not to count. If you haven't heard this album you shouldn't even be a 50 Cent fan. The song I'm picking from this album is "The Good Die Young." From the intro (I want to beat to drop like...now!) to the end this song is great. The beat was later used for a Monica song as well as a 213 song. Before I Self Destruct is in stores now. Pick it up here for only $5.50!

Dipset Weekly

Here's a new series I just thought up. Myself, Shock, and Classic are big Dipset fans so why not have a weekly post where we post new songs coming out from Dipset and their affiliated artists. Shit we'll even throw in a throwback track in our posts as well. Since this is in its first week I'll start it off. There isn't going to be a particular day for this post, it will just be on one random day of the week.

Music Video Weekly #67

In celebration of 50 Cent week, and his Before I Self Destruct album launch, I bring to you one of the most slept on songs and videos off The Massacre. This was one of the videos 50 put on the bonus DVD that came with his re-release of The Massacre. A lot of people felt that most of the videos lacked but in my opinion each served their purpose well. Of course his videos for his singles would be better than the regular album cuts. Any how this video is sort of like his previous videos, My Buddy and Piggy Bank but not only is it computer generated its also in black and white. I had never seen someone combine both of those aspects so I thought it was really cool. Unfortunately everyone I know got tired of the DVD before getting to this video.

50 Cent Week: MTV Interivews

Before I Self Destruct is in stores today! In celebration of that we'll each post one of our favorite 50 Cent songs. Definitely go cop this album, I really think its his best album since Get Rich or Die Trying I'm going to Target later today to buy it. Below are two interviews 50 did with MTV promoting his new album. Enjoy.

Three 6 Mafia - Feel It (featuring DJ Tiesto, Sean Kingston, & Flo Rida)

Wow. Three 6 Mafia has done it again. They have a huge potential club record with this new joint. They did a good job on picking the Flo Rida feature cause he rides this beat perfectly. Sean Kingston comes correct as well. When I first heard this song announced I had my doubts about it cause it was Techno and I'm not too big on that. Then an unmixed version of the song leaked and I hated it right away. Finally today the video came out. All I have to say is this shits gonna blow up! The video and the single are both dope. My only criticism for it is, Flo Rida isn't in the video. Sony needs to capitalize this and push forLaws of Power to come out in January or early February. This song has potential to even reach the "Stay Fly" level of success. Good look with everything Three 6! I'm definitely looking forward to that album now.

Dylan Dilinjah - Ego

Dylan is back with that hot fire (don't believe me he says it himself) with his video for his version of Beyonce's Ego for his upcoming mixtape, Mr. Spit Hot Fire. While its not as good as J.R. Writers version of "Ego" from Cinecrack 1.5, but its still dope. Be sure to peep this video. He gives praise to all the people who helped him get where he is today. He even goes along with the internet humor that keeps his name on the net. Follow hot fire in the human flesh here.

Clipse - Popular Demand (feat. Cam'Ron)

Clipse's video for "Popular Demand" finally leaked today. The video is nothing special but its good to see Cam'Ron and Clipse collaborate. I love this song as well. It looks like Til the Casket Drops, which is in stores December 8th, will be a great album. I can't wait to hear it. This video will be premeiring all day on MTV2, MTVJAMS, and MTVU, so check it out on the televizzle if you get a chance.

B.G. - My Hood (feat. Mannie Fresh & Gar)

Here is a new video from B.G. for his upcoming album, Too Hood 2 Be Holywood in stores December 8th. I'm definitely looking foward to this album because I really liked his 2005 album, The Heart of tha Streetz Vol. 1. This album was originally supposed to come out February 2008, but has had constant pushbacks. It's rumored that Baby is trying to sign a deal with Cash Money again after this album is released.

Gucci Mane - Lemonade (Prod. By Bangladesh)

Here's a newly leaked Gucci Mane track from his upcoming album, The State vs. Radric Davis. It's in stores December 8th. Gucci recently got sent to jail for a year for a probation violation. It's a shame seeing as he's at the height of his career. Hopefully his album still sells well on some Tupac shit, but I doubt it. BURRRR BURRR!

Raekwon - Legacy (feat. Murs, Xzibit, & Caezar)

Here is a new video from Raekwon, Murs, Xzibit, and some new dude named Caezar. The song is for the Ninja Assassin Soundtrack. Ninja Assassin is in theaters November 25th and is directed by the Wachowski Brothers. It should be pretty good seeing as all their movies are pretty dope. Shit I owe the Matrix credit for part of my name (neomerge). Anyhow this is a dope song. Raekwon as you know has Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II in stores now. He's also planning an album with Ghostface and Method Man also have an album coming out soon. It was rumored to be coming out December but I'm not 100% sure on that. Murs is coming out with a collaboration album with Slug from Atmosphere entitled Felt 3, which hits stores this Tuesday. Xzibit is working on an album yet to be titled. It will probably come out sometime in 2010. It was rumored he signed a 1 album deal with Aftermath but thats highly unlikely.

Freeway - The Beat Made Me Do It

Here is Freeways new mixtape with Producer Jake One. It's called The Beat Made Me Do It, and it serves as a prelude to his album, The Stimulus Package, which drops February 16th, 2010. I haven't had a chance to listen to this yet, but I'm sure it will be really good as everything he's been droping this year has been crazy. I recently heard his last retail album, Free At Last, and I have to say that album was heavily slept on. This Tuesday when you go to pick up Before I Self Destruct, pick up, Free At Last as well. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Freelapse is also droping pretty soon so be on the look out for that.

Stat Quo - Ghetto U.S.A./

Here is a new video Stat Quo just put out. I'm not certain what project its for exactly but I'll let you know as soon as I find out. It may be on his album Statlanta which is finally getting a release date in early 2010. Stat just signed a deal with G-unit's in house producer, Sha Money XL. The new record label Sha Money XL set up is called Dream Big. Statlanta is already completed so it shouldn't get any further pushbacks but you never know. In related news it has been reported that Stat's been working with Dre on Detox recently. That's definitely some good news. Glad they're still cool after all these years. Stat recently put out street album, The Great Depression which is in stores now. Check that out if you were a fan of his free mixtape series he started this year. As a bonus I have included a link to his new single "Freaky Girl."

Single of the Week #62

Ok the single of the week is the new 50 Cent and Beanie Sigel track that leaked last night. It's the followup Jay-Z diss. The last diss was "Average Man." 50 even throws some shots at Jay towards the end with his shit talking. This is definitely a hot track and its good to see Sigel rocking with G-unit.

Hell Rell - By My Side

Ruger Rell just dropped his video for his gun anthem off his new album Live From Hell. This is a really dope song and the soul sample in it fits the legendary Dipset sound very well. Rell's been dropping a lot of shit this year but this is considered his 3rd album where the others were mixtapes. It came out this Tuesday so go cop it if your a Ruger fan.

Clipse - Doorman

Here's Clipse's new video for "Doorman" off their upcoming album Til The Casket Drops. Look out for that album, in stores, December 8th. The "Popular Demand" video should be out soon as well so look out for that. I'm looking forward to this Clipse album, I think it will be pretty good. It's a shame it's gotten pushed back so many times.

Throwback Wednesday

Today's throwback Wednesday features a track from one of my favorite artists. The track is "Dope, Jobs, Homeless" by Obie Trice. It's one of the songs he did before he was signed by Shady and its my all time favorite song by him. The title of the song says it all. Obie Trice talks about Dope, Jobs, and Being Homeless. Obie Trice is planning on releasing his long anticipated 3rd album, Bottoms Up, February 2010. He's also releasing a street album, Special Reserve, with DJ Premeir's protege, MoSS. The album will feature 12 tracks. Three of his older tracks will appear on it, as well as 9 new tracks. This track happens to be one of them. I've also included his new single in thie post as well as 2 rare vinyls.

Fredro Starr - Tales of the Industry

Here is a crazy new web series out featuring Fredro Starr. Fredro Starr has alot of dope stories, we've never heard and he tells them live on camera. So far he has talked about The Shyne club shooting, Death Row Records, and in today's video he's talking about this party at Mike Tyson's crib. I haven't been posting these up because I didn't really start watching them until a week ago when my man Row Rider put me onto the Death Row one. Fredro Starr is a really entertaining story teller so be sure to peep these. I have compiled all of them into the embedded playlist starting from the newest one. Be sure to watch them for some good laughs, and inside information. I will continue to post the newer episodes as they air.

Music Video Weekly #66

This week's music video is from the Neptunes first and only collaboration album, The Neptunes Present... Clones. This album spawned 3 really dope singles that I loved. Two of them were "Hot Damn" and "Frontin." The other one is today's music video. Busta Rhymes is featured on the song. This is one of those cases, where If you haven't seen the video, your doing the song an injustice. The video for this song is crazy. It follows a classic cartoon concept, where two characters are chasing after a girl. It draws its concept from Tom and Jerry partially, but also from an old Tex Avery cartoon called, Red Hot Riding Hood as well as a couple sequel cartoons featuring the same Wolf. Without further adieu, here is the video.

Eminem Performs Stan @ Voodoo

Here is a performance for "Stan" Eminem did at the Voodoo festival October 30th. It's dope watching him perform these classic songs years later. It's even doper to hear him rap with a Live band. I really hope he goes on tour with Relapse 2. I've never gotten the chance to see him live, and since he's my favorite rapper it would really be dope. Enjoy.

Eminem - Stan (Live @ Voodoo Fest)

Single of the Week #61

This weeks Single is a freestyle from Joell Ortiz. Joell raps over a previous single of the week "Back By Popular Demand." In my opinion he had better verses than both members of the Clipse and Cam combined. Joell is kilin it. I gotta be honest, I didn't really pay attentrion to him until I heard him on the Slaughterhouse shit. Then I made sure to check out his album, The Brick: Bodega Chronicles, which is really dope. Joell's upcoming project, Free Agent drops, February 23rd. He's also supposed to have a mixtape prequel to that called, The Pre-Agent. There's no set date for that at the moment.

50 Cent - Stretch

Here is 50's video for "Stretch" off his upcoming album, Before I Self Destruct. I would've posted it last night but I was busy as hell working on the Max B cover. The acting in the beginning is hilarious. 50 Cent puts on a funny performance. This is actually part 2 of a series he's putting out called Crime Wave in promotion for his album. I didn't post part 1 though cause I thought it was dumb. Anyways I'll include it at the bottom for those who want to see it. Before I Self Destruct is available in stores November 16th. It will be available on iTunes on November 19th.

Gucci Mane - Spotlight (feat. Usher)

Gucci has been killing it this year! He's kept his name alive on the net by dropping mixtape after mixtape. I was a hater at first but damn I can't front he's put some dope shit out these past few months. "Break Up" with Mario made me a fan. Burrprint 3 made me a believer. Any ways here's his newest video for his upcoming album, The State vs. Radric Davis. It drops December 8th and I have a feeling it's gonna outsell Snoop and Clipse. Gucci Mane constantly proves that he's a versatile emcee. Not only does he make great street records, he makes great songs for the ladies and the clubs. BURRR! Oh yeah Usher is also dropping his new record, Raymond Vs. Raymond, on December 8th!

Gucci Mane - Spotlight (feat. Usher)

The Beanie vs. Jay Beef Continued..

Ok so its been a week since the beef started. Jay responded in an inteview but it was a pretty lame response. Everything he said had already been refuted by Beans. Last night Beanie came on Power 99, while 50 was on and they talked about the situation. At the end of the interview Beanie stated he was signing to G-unit. Beanie also said he's gonna keep putting his foot in Jay's ass till he gets a true response. I hope Jay fires back dissing both Beanie and 50. 50's also been taking a lot of shots at Jay's character in the past few days. 50 Cent and The Roc v.s. Jay-Z would make for a very interesting battle. Only time will tell. Below are the videos.

Here is the third track to leak off of Freelapse. It's coming y'all. Freeway and Jakk Frost tear Eminem's classic track to shreds! Philly has entered the building. Young Chris was supposed to be on this originally but I guess he never sent his verses in. I just hit him up on twitter asking him about it so, I'll get back at y'all.

Music Video Weekly #65

I've been listening to a lot of Freeway this week, so this week's music video is from Freeway's first album, Philadelphia Freeway. Coincidentally it features Jay-Z and Beanie who aren't seeing eye to eye right now. This is classic Roc-A-Fella at its finest. Look out for the State Prop cameos throughout the video. Shoutout to the Philly Freezer, Freelapse is on the way!

50 Cent - Baby By Me (feat. Ne-Yo)

50 finally released his new video for the club anthem today, "Baby by Me." The song features one of the hottest RnB singers out right now, Ne-Yo. I must say the video is pretty good, especially the end. It's cool how fif flipped his last big single, from Curtis, and made it part of the hook. Before I Self Destruct got pushed up to November 16th, so definitely be on the look out for that. It's hands down the best record to come out of New York this year. 50 is back on that aggressive shit for almost an entire album. He does put a lil songs in there for the ladies though towards the end.

Obie Lets Frank Sinatra Tell His Story

This is a rather weird video that just leaked of Obie Trice lip-syncing to Frank Sinatra's "My Way.' I didn't quite understand it at first but if you listen to the lyrics they really fit in with Obie's career. Bottoms Up is slated to drop February 2010. Let's hope he finally makes this date. There was a time where Obie was in my Top 5, but due to his long hiatus its hard to keep him at that spot. I hope Obie comes back to prove he's still one of the illest lyricists in the game.
