Single of the Week #38
This week's single is a new song from Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne. Its another song that is scheduled to be on the long awaited I Can't Feel My Face album. It's crazy how long this has taken to come out. I remember this was first announced in 2005. It might have even been earlier. Anyways this song is dope it has Wayne and Juelz talking about the national disasters that happened in each others citys.

Two New Fabolous Videos
Fabolous has a new cd coming out this summer entitled, Loso's Way. I'm pretty excited about it. All the songs that have leaked so far are fire. It's mainly Fabolous on the entire album. There's a lot of hooks by other artists but its just mainly Fab rapping. The album is going to be like Jay-Z's American Gangster as it follows the theme of a movie (Carlito's Way). Lookout for Loso's Way in stores on June 30th!

Charles Hamilton - The Pink Selection
Some of you probably already know this but i'm a huge Charles Hamilton fan. I was a fan before the deal and I always told people "yo check out CH he's dope" and they would just blow it off. Now that everyone knows him now I decided to compile a best of CH. Its not really a best of all his material but more like a best of the Hamiltonzation process & after. Only 9 tracks were featured on tapes on the Hamiltonzation process. I really think that the Hamiltonzation process was overwhelming and disapointing. If you like CH download this and you will enjoy it, if you have yet to listen to him..download this and you will enjoy it.

Kanye West - Paranoid (Starring Rihanna) + Bonus
Ok so here is Kanye's new video for Paranoid. It stars Rihanna. I'm a little disappointed she's not singing in the song like Kanye originally hinted at for his 808's re-release. Also Check out his video for Amazing with Young Jeezy. 808's is still a great album!

Music Video Weekly #42
This weeks video is from Pretty Ricky's first album, Blue Stars. I loved this album so much when it came out. It really is the perfect summer album. The dude who did most of the production on this album, needs to come back and do an album with them again if they ever gonna be hot again. A lot of people are gonna be like "wtf" at this post but I dare you to go and listen to that album and tell me that the beats aren't crazy. Sure the rap is somewhat mediocre but Pleasure P is a pretty good singer and Stick Em', Baby Blue, and Spectacular complement it very well.

Single of the Week #37
This weeks single is a Remix to Best I Ever Had, a song by Drake on So Far Gone. R. Kelly is featured on it. I've heard a lot of remixes to this joint and this one is the best in my opinion. This remix is featured on the new R. Kelly mixtape (The Demo Tape) coming soon hosted by DJ Drama and DJ Skee.

Juicy J - 30 Inches (feat. Gucci Mane & Project Pat) [Studio Footage]
I love watching rappers laying down their verses in the studio. I could watch these type of videos all day on youtube. Anyways heres a video of Juicy, Gucci, and Pat recording their song 30 Inches for Juicy J's new album coming in June. So far it seems like its going to be better than DJ Pauls solo album which was really good cause it had Lord on like 6 tracks.

Nas - Untitled (Album Review) [Top 5 of 2008]
Ok so I'm finally on my last review for the Top 5 of 2008. I apologize for how long it took, I've just been really busy with school and these reviews are almost like writing a paper. Early on Nas announced this album would be called the N word. I was very surprised. I thought it was a great Idea and would bring him a lot of publicity. Apparently it brought enough that Def Jam deemed the title too controversial so nas changed it to Untitled. The album still has the same content that he planned on having though. The whole album deals with racial issues. It's a great album and it proves Nas is still one of the best rappers ever, period.
1. Queens Get The Money
The album starts with this great opener. The only problem I have with it is the length. I woulda loved it to be a little longer. But whatever album openers usually aren't that long. This song basically gives us a summary of what the album is going to be about.
"This is high science Now add 23 more
For Queens to be more I’m over they heads
Like a bulimic on a see-saw
Now that’s 50 porch monkeys ate up at the same time
Nasty NASDAQ Ya'll gonna bow holmes This is DOW Jones
80 cal. chrome Needed time alone To zone
The Mack left his iPhone And his nine at home"
8/10
2. You Can't Stop Us Now (feat. Eban Thomas)
As soon as I heard this song I thought of the RZA song which used the same sample. This song is about black history and some of the racist things that went on.
"We act like we home
Matter fact, we are home
Bad attitude Octaroon skin tones
Slave food turned to soul food
Collards and neck bones
Betsy Ross sewed the first American flag
Bet she had a n!gga with her to help her old ass"
8.5/10
3. Breathe
This song is about growing up in the hood and making it out. Nothing really mind blowing here but its a good song nonetheless.
"Icewear gaudy, since '94 flossy
The Lex was an excellent choice
Now fast forward me
The pestilence of the ghetto informed me
As a shorty, to push nothin' less than a 740"
7.5/10
4. Make the World Go Round (feat. The Game & Chris Brown)
This song is your quintesseintial single (it ended up being his 2nd main single). I've never been a fan of Chris Brown but he's alright in this song. Originally Nas said that he recorded 2 Game songs for this album. Most likely it was this song and "Letter to the King" which ended up on Game's album, L.A.X. That song fits way better with the theme of this album. I don't know why they chose this song for the Untitled.
"You hate me Should thank me
But lately I burned so much trees
I keep environmentalists angry
I'm a rare dude, I'm a wonder
Your best success is my worst blunder"
7/10
5. Hero (feat. Keri Hilson)
This is one of my favorite Nas songs since Made You Look. It is hands down his best first single in a while. Polow Da Don gave nas a gem. I can't believe this video and song didn't blow up. It was even made the official single for Hulk and used in a lot of Heroes promos.. This song is basically what the title says, being a Hero. Nas is a Hero to rap because he doesn't sell out and continues to make music he believes in. My favorite part is where he speaks on them making him change the title.
"So untitled it is
I never change nothin'
But people remember this
If Nas can't say it,
think about these talented kids
With new ideas being told
what they can and can't spit"
10/10
6. America
Here is another high point of the album. Nas drops a lot of knowledge once again. On the first verse he talks about growing up in the hood and getting out. Second verse he talks about Black's and their jobs. And the third verse he talks about Women's Black history.
"Assassinations
Diplomatic relations
Killed indigenous people
Built a new nation
Involuntary labor
Took a knife split a woman naval
Took her premature baby
Let her man see you rape her"
9/10
7. Sly Fox
This is another one of my favorite songs from the album. Nas talks about all the bullshit going on in Television News, most notably, Fox News. They say their fair and balanced but their major audience is Repulicans.
"The Fear Factor got you all rattled up
O' Reilly Oh really?
No rally needed I'll tie you up
Network for child predators, settin' 'em up
Myspace pimps, hoes, and sluts
Ya'll exploit rap culture, then ya'll flip on us
And you own the post, and ya'll shit on us"
9.5/10
8. Testify
This song is Nas talking to his white fans. He's asking if we would Testify for him if he killed white supremists. It's a short song but it gets his point across.
"I just burnt my American flag
And sent three cracker Nazi's to hell and I'm sad
Uh, I'm loading tefs in my mag
To send these red neck bigots some death in a bag
Choke him out with his confederate flag; I know these devils are mad
Little rap fans that live way out in safe suburbia
Would you stand with me, a United States murderer?
Huh?"
8/10
9. N.I.G.G.E.R (The Slave and the Master)
This song is about History not acknowledging people in the ghetto as well as rappers.
"When I rap about war,
They got the tendency to scatter,
They ain't my backup no more,
So now my enemies are at my front door,
Cause any time we mention Our condition,
our history or existence, They calling it reverse racism,
Still till today the street's torn,
My brother Jungle always have a seat for 'em
Not behind me beside me You'll always know where to find me"
8.5/10
10. Untitled
In this song Nas talks about him being a revolutionary and being shot down by the government. Really great concept and really great song.
"You won't remember why they came to clip me
When time go by you'll soon forget me
They say he was the king of bling, jewels, and Bentley's
Then I use one of my lines just to prove I'm guilty
Don't let' em kill me..."
8.5/10
11.Fried Chicken (feat. Busta Rhymes)
Here is another one of my favorite songs on the album. Nas and Busta talk about Fried Chicken like it were a female. Instead of talking down on the racial stereotype of blacks eating fried chicken they embrace it.
"Then you rub on with hot oil for half an hour
You in your hot tub, I'm looking at you salivating
Dry you off, I got your paper towel waiting
Lay you down cause you're red hot
Louisiana style you make my head rot
Then I flock To the bed then, "Plop"
When we done, I need rest
Don't know a part of you that I love best
Your legs or your breast"
9/10
12. Project Roach (feat. The Last Poets)
In this song Nas raps as if he were a Roach in the projects. It's another great concept song.
"Ugh yeah yo I'm creepy and crawling
In your sink or your toilet
I'll be drinking from your spit
Anything cause I'm more less an insect with 4 legs
People come and I fake dead
Correction I got 8 legs
Climbin on top your plate bed"
8/10
13. Y'all My N!ggas
In this song Nas talks about the word "nigga" and how it is viewed in todays society. I love how the title of the song tricks you. When you look at the title you think the song will be about something totally different.
"Tryin to erase me from y'all memory
Too late I'm engraved in history (I'm here my niggas)
Speak my name and breath life in me
Make sure y'all never forget me (cuz y'all give me life)
Cause y'all use my name so reckless
Whether to be accepted or disrespected (and I love it)
And I love it especially when y'all do it in public
And I'm the subject
Cause y'all my niggas"
8.5/10
14. We're Not Alone (feat. Mykel)
This song is talking about life on other planets. Its talking about the potential struggle we might have one day. Harsh Racism could potentially happen again if they were found.
"I'ma tell you what I seen with my three eyes
Word to me, not a hoax, back in 9-9
A spacecraft in the skyline
In L.A., in daytime, ask Horse if I'm lying"
9/10
15. Black President
This song is talking about a Black President. Tupac once said "And tho it seems heaven sent we aint ready to have a black president." Over a decade later we now have one.
"What's the black pres. thinkin' on election night
Is it how can I protect my life?
Protect my wife?
Protect my rights?
Every other president was nothin' less than white"
8.5/10
Final Score:
8.5/10

Be a N!gger Too*
* This song was originally going to be on the album. They couldn't get the sample cleared because it was used in an old Dr Pepper commercial.
Hero (feat. Keri Hilson)
Sly Fox
Make the World Go Round (feat. The Game & Chris Brown)
Y'all My N!ggas
==Bonus Tracks==
I made a Bonus CD of all the tracks that were meant for the album that leaked in NODJ that didn't make it.I also added Election Night, a song that came out the night Obama would be elected as president if he won. Middle Finger is a dope cut from David Banner's album that came out around the same time as Untitled.

1.Like Me (UK Bonus Track)
2.N!gger Hatred
3.Be a N!gger Too

they think i'm the sweetest thing invented since candy

when i say i'm balling, i'm not talking 'bout a ball
i'm talking about Tiffany & Co. stones out the mall
niggas, they can hate all they want but they know they like this

Outro:

Music Video Weekly # 41
Today's music video is from Bone Thug's cd, The Collection Volume 1. It's always been one of my favorite songs by them. Ever since I heard their Greatest Hits cd, I've been a fan of them. Yeah I know not too long but whatever. Enjoy the video and look out for that new Bone Thugs album (Uni5) with all 5 members coming this September!

Countdown to Relapse: Day 2
Well..so i'm here to contribute to the countdown to "Relapse" which drops tomorrow..if you haven't heard it yet, download it, its exceeded my expectations. I would say be sure to cop it but I feel like Em's made enough money and will sell quite a lot without me telling anyone to do so lol. Anyways I uploaded "Kim" from "The Marshall Mathers LP" its my favorite Eminem song of all time. So much raw emotion on this track, its beyond ill.

Drake - Best Of Drizzy Pt.1 [REPACK]
This is a Repack of the first tape in the "Best Of Drizzy" compilation series. I've had a few requests for Part One to be re-uploaded and i've had this better quality updated version just sitting on my hard drive for months now. "Man Of The Year", "Brand New Remix", & "Kick Push" were removed due to horrible sound quality and replaced with "I'ma Take Yo Girl", "A Milli", and "City Is Mine". This rip is a lot better quality, a lot of songs are better sound quality than those included in the original rip. Also this rip includes a new cover. All songs are CDQ/NODJ or damn near it.

Drake - Best Of Drizzy II (Jimmys Back)
Yes..part 2 is here people! Its Been over 6 months since I put together and put out the first "Best Of Drizzy" and it seems like Drake has almost gone global since. I actually made the first tape for me and a friend of mine but it ended getting like 4,000 downloads just off my rapidshare link. "Best Of Drizzy II (Jimmys Back)" is a lot better in my opinon. This series is Drake's best work in my opinion from his collaborations with other artists as well as his solo material released to the internet via mixtapes and other channels. All songs are No DJ & CD Quality or damn near CD quality. Download and enjoy!

Countdown to Relapse: Day 1
Over the next 3 days each member will post their favorite Eminem song. Today I will post mine. One of my favorite Eminem songs has always been "Rock Bottom" off of the Slim Shady LP. Don't forget to buy Relapse, this Tuesday.

Single of the Week #36
Here is a new dope song from The Game. It just leaked but apparently it was made in early 07. Some people are saying it was another one of the cut tracks from Doctor's Advocate. This track is dope as hell. Lookout for Game's new album, The Red Album coming this Winter.

Music Video Weekly # 40
This weeks music video is from The Game's first album, The Documentary. Game put the west coast back on the map with this album. It's a shame him and Dre parted ways. No new artist from the west has blown up like Game has since. I was hoping Bishop Lamont would be what Game was, but he basically screwed shit up with Dre. And You know how I feel about Crooked I blowing up. It's long over due. Anyways this video was a classic and so is the song. I like how it has a "The Next Episode" kinda feel to it. I really hope one day 50 and Game can squash the stupid beef (again..).

S-S-S-S-S-SQQUUUUUUAD UPP!
Just Copped: Volume 2
Ok so today I went to Best Buy and bought 4 albums. They were: Cam'Ron - Crime Pays, Cam'Ron - Purple Haze, Shwayze - Shwayze, and Eminem - The Eminem Show.
I had to buy the new Cam album (Crime Pays) cause I've anticipated it ever since his song "Curtisss" came out dissing 50 Cent. A lot of people won't admit it but Cam really got at 50 with that song, caused 50 to change the name of his album and everything to try to make Cams song backfire. Of course a lot of people thought Cam lost cause he wasn't out there responding to 50's other disses and shit, but really he was just taking care of his sick mother. Anyways there was a huge drought with no Cam, except for Public Enemy #1 which seemed like it only made the wait for his album longer. I'm so glad this album is finally out. Some say this cd isn't up to par with his others, but its certainly miles ahead of Jim Jone's recent album, Prey IV Reign. If anything buy the album to show Jim that Cam is still boss and show that he made a big mistake by hopping on stage with 50 during the whole 50 vs. Cam beef. My favorite song on this album is "Curve".
I bought Purple Haze because lets face it, its definitely a recent classic. The whole album bangs from begging to end. And the Mizzle skits are hilarious! This is the first album that really got me into Cam. In my opinion it's his best album. The production was on point too, and it shows why Dipset had it on lock at the time. If you haven't heard this album, shame on you! Go listen. My favorite track on there is probably "Killa Cam". It's really hard to narrow it down to one song though, cause its a classic.
The Shwayze album (Shwayze) was also a must buy. I remember last August when the album leaked. I had wanted to check out the album, after seeing commercials for their TV show. I also had heard a couple of their songs on breaks in between TV shows on MTV and thought they sounded pretty decent. Anyways I never got around to checking out the album. It was probably because a lot of albums were coming out around the same time and I just forgot about it. I kept thinking in the back of my head that I need to listen to this album, and it didn't happen until a month or so ago. As soon as I heard the album, I was mad at myself for not taking the time to listen to it sooner. I absolutely love every song on that album. It's a great, no perfect, summer album. I heard this album so much I felt like I had to buy it. Cisco Adler has a great Voice that complements Shwayze's voice very well. My favorite song is "Hollywood."
Last but certainly not least is The Eminem Show. I really don't think I need to say anymore. Overall I think this is Eminem's best album. His flow is refined and so are his raps. This seems like the most complete album he's ever put together. I also had to buy it to add to my collection. If you remember I bought MMLP and SSLP a few months back, but I never purchased this. My favorite song is "Till I Collapse."
Next Tuesday I plan on buying Eminem - Relapse, Eminem - Encore, and Busta Rhymes - Back on My B.S. I'll do another writeup then. But until then, WORDAP Fam!

Onyx - Money In The Sky (Music Video)
Here is a new video from the group Onyx! Yes all 3 members are back! Hopefully their new album drops soon. I'm not quite sure if it is still going to be called Black Rock. Also Sticky Fingaz has a new album coming out too soon! I'll keep you updated.
Cam'Ron - Cookies - N Apple Juice/Silky (No Homo) Music Videp
Here is the new music video for two of Cam'Ron's songs off his new album Crime Pays. I've only heard the album 2 times so far and am not really sure where I would place it among all the rest of his albums, but it's certainly dope and worth a purchase May 12th. I can say that it's definitely better than Public Enemy #1.
Eminem - Freestyle & Interview On German TV
Here is a Freestyle/Interview Eminem did for a German TV show. It's really amusing. This video proves that Eminem is still one of the best freestylers period. Don't forget to go get Relapse May 19th!
Single of the Week #35
This week's single is a new track from DJ Paul's new album, Scale-A-Ton (Skeleton). Its pretty funny and it features Lord Infamous. Definitely go buy DJ Paul's album if your a Lord Infamous fan, because he is featured on like 7 tracks on the cd.

Music Video Weekly # 39
Ok this week's music video is a classic song from Fabolous off his album Real Talk. I remember bumping this song non stop back when it came out. Fabolous has always been one of those Top 5 New York rappers, no doubt about it. Be on the lookout for his new album Loso's Way due out later this summer.

Cam'Ron - Cookin' Up (Music Video)
Ok so I was wrong, Crime Pays does come out May 12th for sure. Asylum is trying to keep this cd from leaking as much as they can. The clean webrip is out due to someone posting all the tracks on imeem yesterday. Anyways this song is one of my favorites from the album and reminds me of the Purple Haze era Cam. It's rumored that Hell Rell may have originally been on this track. Anyways cop the album May 12th its worth your 10 bucks.

Eminem - Old Time's Sake (feat. Dr. Dre)
Ok so here is a new Eminem song that hit itunes earlier today. I like it despite what people are saying. N-EIGHT texted me about it leaking so I got up and went to download it. I went to a small forum (HipHopIsHome) where I knew not much hate and talk would be had about the song. I just wanted to hear this song without hearing anyone's opinion first. It was good cause it didn't influence me to think a certain way about the song before hearing it. I gotta admit as soon as I heard Eminem rapping with that accent again I was a little pissed. The only thing I can draw from this is its his new take on slim shady. I was glad to hear him rapping normal on the chorus and third verse though. Dr. Dre was on point on this song as well, some say he was better than Eminem lol. Anyways this overall I think this is a good track but certainly not as good as Forgot About Dre.

Eminem - 3 A.M. (Music Video)
There's not much I can say about this video, other than the fact that it's amazing! One of his best videos ever. It's most definitely his darkest yet. This really diminishes a lot of the doubts I was starting to have about this album. I'll say it again, Relapse is going to be a classic! By all means necessary go buy Relapse May 19th!

Single of the Week #34
This weeks single is a new track from Cam'Ron featuring Jadakiss. I'm not sure if this is off his new album Crime Pays or not. The tracklist that leaked doesn't have this song on it. Crime Pays is supposed to come out May 12th but I honestly think it's going to get pushed back.
