Trey Songz - Successful (feat. Drake)

Here is the new video off Trey Songz album, Ready, in stores now. This is also going to be on the retail version of So Far Gone which is in stores, September 15th. Prior to today I had never heard Trey's new verse on the song. I think its really good. It definitely makes the song more of his own. This video turned out pretty good and I hope it sets up decent promotion for both their albums.

Havoc- Believer

Download

This track is serious, Havoc goes in!! It's like a open letter to the haters, and also explaining he doesn't need "G-Unit" to make hits... the beat is knocking!! This was off the From Now On Mixtape. If you missed it... you can download it here.

Drake - Forever (feat. Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem) [Final Version]

Ok, as promised, here is the final version of the Drake track. It features minor changes to Kanye's verse as well as some changes to the pianos, horns, drums and vocals. I'm guessing they decided to keep Drake's chorus as well, so there's no new RNB feature. I definitely think it sounds a lot better. Still looking forward to the video.

Successful

"I just wanna be successful"

Drake's "Best I Ever Had" is #1 on Billboard, "Every Girl" which is another song in which Drake appears on is #2. "Successful" a song that we heard first on the "So Far Gone" mixtape is #3. If anybody thinks Drake doesn't have a bright future is A. Delusional, B. Hater, C. a angry aids patient, D. All of the Above. i'm going with D.

Shwayze - Get U Home

Here is the new music video for Shwayze's new song "Get U Home." At first I'm wasn't feeling this song but now I really am. The production is definitely different than stuff on their last album but its still dope. I'm really looking foward to their new album. Let It Beat hits stores, October 27, 2009.

Juicy J - Lets Get High/North Memphis Like Me

Here's 2 video's Juicy J dropped for his album, Hustle Til I Die, in stores now. The first video is for "Let's Get High." It's definitely one of the better songs on the album. In my opinion the album is pretty straight other than the V-Slash features. If your a fan of the old three 6 mafia stuff you'll probably like it even more.

Juicy J - Lets Get High

Here's the second video. This one's for "North Memphis Like Me." This is also pretty good save the V-Slash feature. I can't stand he/she at all. But Project Pat definitely saves it at the end. His verse is sick. Also good looks on that Lil Wyte cameo. Glad too see they still care about him enough to let him in a video shoot. His new album, The Bad Influence, is also in stores now.

Juicy J - North Memphis Like Me (feat. V-Slash & Project Pat)

Ace Hood - Loco Wit The Cake

Here's an internet video Ace Hood put out for his album, Ruthless, in stores now. It's directed by Jordan Tower. This dude has made some pretty basic videos in the past but this one looks a lot better. This was one of my favorite songs off his cd. Ruthless wasn't anywhere as good as Gutta, but it still has some bangers on it. In my opinion their were too many girl songs on Ruthless. Also as a bonus I'm putting up the video for his song with Ludacris, "Born a O.G."

Ace Hood - Born a O.G. (featuring Ludacris)

Single of the Week #51

This week's single is a new song off the soundtrack to the upcoming movie, More Than a Game. It features 4 of the hottest rappers out now. When I first heard that this song was gonna be made I didn't even believe it was real. It doesn't seem like a track Eminem would hop on. But I was totally wrong. It in fact was real. I then thought that Eminem's verse would be wack due to him not really trying on past features. But I was wrong again. Eminem had the hottest verse on this song, but everyone else came correct as well. A music video for this is supposed to be filmed. I can't wait to see all 4 rappers in one video. This song is great promo for all their upcoming albums. Oh yeah and to make things even better this isn't the final version of the song. Apparently there is going to be another RNB singer on the hook. This version has not leaked yet. I'll definitely be sure to post it when it does though.

midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik

http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/9186/00midwestgangstaboxfram.jpg

"Gibbs ho!" Today Gary, IN. raised rapper Freddie Gibbs blesses us with "midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik". On the first listen its pretty damn good! Freddie has been around for a few years he even spent some time on Interscope but I don't think that turned out to well for him (does Interscope turn out good for anybody anymore???). If you like Twista, Do or Die, basically any of that really good late 90's midwest "gangsta rap" you should really check this out.

Soulja Boy - Successful

First off shoutout to ThankMeLater for hooking us up with a dope new layout. Wordap is looking better than ever. Anyways here's a new video Soulja Boy just put out for his version of Successful. Of course it isn't as good as Drake's but its definitely worth listening to. I'm still amazed at how much better Soulja Boy has gotten lyrically. That Gangsta Grillz of his is a pretty decent listen. I know he's no lyricist but dude has some funny shit to say.

Young Chris - Rap Money (feat. Tom Hardy & Freeway) [Studio Performance]

Heres some new studio footage of Young Chris and his gang performing the song "Rap Money" off his new mixtape, The Network. I always love to watch these in studio performances. While listening to the mixtape I never pictured Tom Hardy as white but thats interesting. You already know Freeway and Young Chris kill it!

Young Chris - Rap Money (feat. Tom Hardy & Freeway) [Studio Performance]

Raekwon - House of Flying Daggers (feat. Wu-Tang)

Here is a new music video for Raekwon's upcoming album, Only Built For Cuban Linx II. Look for it in stores September 8th. This is a pretty dope animated music video. The animators did a really good job or representing the Wu and their style of rapping.

Music Video Weekly #55

The 55th music video is from Bun B's first solo album, Trill. This video was shot not too long after Pimp C got released from jail. Every rapper featured on this track kills their verse. This is what I would call a classic song. It's a shame Jay-Z (whom appeared on the album version of this track) didn't show up to the video shoot to make the video even hotter. On a sadder tip, R.I.P. Pimp C. I still can't believe he passed on.

Bun-B - Get Throwed (feat. Young Jeezy, Z-Ro, & Pimp C)

Dope Mixtape: Jay-Z & DJ Noodles Presents: BP3-Qual

Jay-Z new album, Blueprint 3 is scheduled to drop September 11th. DJ Noodles brings us a really hot tape full of Blends to hold us over. I'm not really big on blends cause a lot of them aren't done right but these are definitely good. My favorite tracks are "Successful," "DOA Pt. 2," and "The One."

Single of the Week #50

This week's single is from Havoc's new mixtape From Now On. I talked about it in a previous post. The most heartfelt track on this tape is probably "Letter to P." It's kinda short but its really dope. He also squashes the rumors that they weren't that close anymore.

Havoc - Letter to P

Fabolous - When The Money Goes (feat. Jay-Z) [Extended]

Ok ok I promised y'all I was looking for it and I finally found it. Someone finally did a decent job mixing both Jay and Fab's versions of When The Money Goes together. The first version I found was terrible so I didn't even post it but this version that just came out today is very good. This track was hard to mix because each rapper came into their verses in different ways. Anyways here it is you already know so!

Fabolous - Money Goes (feat. Jay-Z) [Extended]

Beanie Sigel- In The Ghetto

Beanie Sigel is testing the independent album market this time around. This track is HEAT! This should be a nice bounce back project for the Broad Street Bully!! Looks like this album is going to pick up where the 2005 slept on album, The B. Coming, left off at!

Havoc -24K Rap (feat. J Dilla & Raekwon)

Here's a music video done for Havoc's new mixtape, From Now On. This mixtape is definitely a banger. Be sure to check out for joints like "Letter to P," "Bang Bang (feat. Lloyd Banks)," and "All Ways Have a Choice." Download the mixtape here. In the mean time check out this video.

Havoc -24K Rap (feat. J Dilla & Raekwon)

Jay-Z - Run this Town (feat. Rihanna & Kanye West)

This track was featured as a single of the week as soon as it leaked. It's definitely hot. The video makes me enjoy the song even more. D.O.A. and this song make me wanna hear Blueprint 3 pronto. Both of Jay's Blueprint albums have been classics IMO and so far this album looks like its living up to the status of the 2 previous albums. Kanye forgets the autotune on this track and goes back his roots, rapping his ass off, along side Jay-Z who is arguably one of the best artists to ever grace the mic. Blueprint 3 is in stores September 11th!

Jay-Z - Run this Town (feat. Rihanna & Kanye West)

Jamie Foxx - Digital Girl [Remix] (feat. Drake, The Dream, Kanye West)

Jaimie Foxx knows talent when he see's it. He put Drake on his remix to his new song along with Kanye. Drake hands down has the best verse on this song. Kanye kills it but in my opinion Drake comes stronger. This track was originally going to appear on Charles Hamilton Vs. Drizzy Drake, but got dropped at the last minute due to time restrictions.

Jamie Foxx - Digital Girl [Remix] (feat. Drake, The Dream, Kanye West)

Young Chris Interview (True Stories Radio)

Check out this Inteview Young Chris did with True Stories radio. Its pretty dope. He talks about the Roc in its prime and what it was like being part of the Dynasty. He describes the Roc as the "96 Bulls" which in my opinion is the best way anyone could describe it. It's a shame that they're all split up now. I would love to see a reunion. Shit hip hop NEEDS the Roc Reunion!

Music Video Weekly #54

This week's music video is off of Game's second album Doctors Advocate. Originally a street single, this song became big enough to warrant a music video. I didn't like this song much at first but it definitely grew on me. There;s a bunch of cameos in this video as well. Look out for Juice, Ya Boy, and New Jersey Devil, among a few others. And speaking of The Game, download that new R.E.D. Files mixtape here. Its really hot. Don't download it on datpiff though cause the tags are all messed up and it has an unauthorized bonus track.

The Game - One Blood

R. Kelly - Number One (feat. Keri Hilson)

I don't post enough RNB on this site, I might have to make a new RnB feature for this site. Anyway's here's the new music video from the King of RnB, R. Kelly. I'm definitely feeling this song. Its leagues above other RnB songs out now (I'm lookin at you Jeremih). Only other dudes I'm feeling right now are Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, and Ryan Leslie. But back to the subject, Keri Hilson is featued in this video and she's lookin just as good as ever. Look out for R. Kelly's new cd, Untitled, coming out October 13th.

Fabolous - When the Money Goes (feat. Jay-Z)

Here is the forth single off Fabolous' new album Loso's Way. This is a really dope video. We get to see Jay and Fab do some acting in the beginning then it cuts right to the song. I really wish someone would make an extended mix of the original Jay-Z version along with Loso's verses. I've heard one but it wasn't that good. Anyways Loso's Way in stores now! Blueprint 3 in stores September 11th!

D12 - Blow My Buzz

Here's a quick music video that was done for the Eminem All Access Europe DVD. I can't believe I've never seen this. This video is really funny. Basically its clips from the Tour with D12 as well as clips of members of D12 performing the song. It's definitely really cool. I've always loved Eminem's verse on this song.

Single of the Week #49

Ok here we go with the 49th consecutive single of the week. This week we got a track off Joe Budden's new EP, Escape Route. You can purchase his new EP here. People are saying its his best material in a while. I've only heard it like once but from what I've heard I like. ThankMeLater hit me up when it came out saying it was his best material since Mood Muzik 2. This song is probably my favorite song off the EP.

Nelly - Let It Go (feat. Pharell)

Here is Nelly's new music video off his album Brass Knuckles. I have no clue why this came out now. His album came out September of last year. I'm guessing this is just a video that was shot that never leaked until now. I'm glad a video came out for this cause this was one of the better tracks on the album. I still with they would have released a video for "Lie" though. That was most definitely the best song off the album. Speaking of Brass Knuckles, I'm probably one of the few people to think that this album wasn't bad. I heard a lot of bad reviews but in my opinion it was pretty decent. Nelly always has decent albums, except for Da Derty Versions. I'll admit that Nelly isn't very lyrical but he's still a very entertaining artist in my book. He is definitely over-hated in the online hip hop communities.

Pacewon & Mr. Green - She Can Be So Cold

Here is the NEW music video off their album, The Only Color that Matters is Green! I can not tell you how much I loved their album. It was honestly my favorite album of 2008. Charlie Clips - Barz of Death

Here is a new freestyle video for Charlie Clips - Barz of Death. I haven't heard much of dude, but what I have heard has been dope. The first project I heard him on was J.R. Writer's Cinecrack 1.5. He's also on the new Cam'Ron Gangsta Grillz. It's good to see that he's working with Cam as well as Writer. Maybe he can help make a new Cam'Ron and J.R. Writer collabo happen.

Charlie Clips - Barz of Death

Nero Interview With GoodFella Radio

Here's a recent interview Nero did with GoodFella Radio. He also drops a freestyle at the end. Nero is one of my favorite up and coming rappers. If you haven't heard Alive and Vibrant shame on you. That's definitely one of the best mixtapes to drop this year. He also re-released Alive and Vibrant with a couple of new tracks. If you want that click here.

Music Video Weekly #53

Today we have a music video from Crooked I in celebration of his first ever retail release. The Slaughterhouse album came out Tuesday. If you haven't bought it please be sure to and support real hip hop. It's great to see these four lyrical monsters not selling out to the bullshit radio. This is a pretty dope video. This was back when Death Row was trying to come back. Suge had faith that he could reinvent the Death Row era but it just never took off. I've actually been meaning to post this video for a while but always came up with other videos I wanted to post more. I'm glad I finally have a reason to post this.

Ray J - Un-Kut (GroupRip)

http://i27.tinypic.com/2ebxvu8.jpg

Tonight we bring you greatness (in our eyes of course lol) even if you don't enjoy all the music on this tape you gotta respect Ray J's approach. If you don't respect that you have to atleast respect the fact that he fucked Kim Kardashian, on tape! I've been looking for this tape off and on ever since the infamous sex tape between Kim & Him leaked. For some random reason I decided to look for it once again, except this time I happen to not only find the tape but I found a GroupRip of it. This tape is a mixture of westcoast rap and uncut R&B so if you enjoyed older Death Row stuff I recommend downloading this. That cover (nsfw) alone is worth a download.

Download: http://www.zshare.net/audio/63732591b984facd/

This track came out around the time Peedi Crakk, was dissing Juelz Santana, and Jay-Z was still at war with Killaaaaa Cam'Ron, JR stood up for the set and called out Jay-Z, although Jay never responded to JR. . . This track gives me flash backs to the "The Title Stays In Harlem" Mixtape where everyone from the set was throwing sublminal shots to a lot of people all over that mixtape! in 2009 JR Writer is still reppin "The Set" though, with his new group "Dipset Thunderbyrds" Look out for his new mixtape "Cinecrack 2.Overdrive" Coming Soon...

Jay-Z Talks Blueprint 3

What More Can I Say (no pun intended), one of my most anticipated albums is The Blueprint 3. Jay-Z is most definitely in my top 5. Check out this short interview he did with MTV about his upcoming album. Hope its as classic as he claims it is!

Music Video Weekly #52

Okay so today we have the 52nd video! I've literally given you 52 classic music videos to bump once every week. Doesn't seem like its been that long. Today's music video is from Snoops album, No Limit Top Dogg. It features Xzibit and is produced by Dr. Dre. This has always been one of my favorite joints. To be honest with you I heard this version after the one on Marshall Mathers LP. I didn't even know there was a video to this until I saw it on some file sharing program.
