Here's a mixtape my friend N-EIGHT over at AKA N-EIGHT put together. It's got all the new stuff by Lil Wayne in CDQ NODJ. Definitely check it out if your a fan of Lil Wayne. I enjoyed C3 myself but not really anything else this dude has put out. I'm sure the song with Juelz is dope though.

This weeks single of the week is by Lil Jon. It features West coast rappers, The Game and Ice Cube. This song goes hard as hell. Its on that classic crunk/rock type shit. I hope his new album is like this because if so it would be amazing. I hope Lil Jon brings back crunk. It's been a minute since I've heard some good crunk songs.
The second review is finally here. This time I'm reviewing Flo Rida's debut album, Mail on Sunday. As soon as I heard this dudes flow on "Low" I knew that he would probably have a dope cd. Before his album came out I downloaded a mxitape of his and I enjoyed it, so it had me really hyped for the album. When second single "Elevator" leaked I played it non stop. I knew this was going to be one of the huge singles of 2008 and it was! While this cd may not display huge lyrical content, its still a great cd to bump and rock out to. Flo Rida's flow is amazing and keeps you entertained the entire cd.
1.Superstar (feat. Lil Wayne)
This is a great opening sound. The beat is crazy. One of the most important things in a good album is to have a great opening song. Flo Rida definitely delivers on this. Waynes and Flo Rida provide a perfect chorus. Most of the time Wayne annoys the hell out of me but he's dope on this song.
"Heavy Metal For Them Boys Plenty petals for them gals Got An Appetite For Destruction You Can Call Me Axel Ask Me Bout What A N!gga Done Done Ask Me Bout What A N!gga Do Well Ask Me Were The Bricks Come From That's What A Snitch N!gga Do They Tell I Don't Want Nothing To Do With That Deal If It's a lick them I'm Bringing Them Shells"
9/10
2.Ack Like You Know
This is a great second song. Flo continues to display his sick rapping ability. The chorus is very catchy.
"Dog you aint ready for this Machine thang ready to spit I ain't just tellin you shit peep game look at my wrist" Flo Rida franchise im like the pizza man all about cheese full of dough let me grease ya hands"
8/10
3.Elevator (feat. Timbaland)
This song is definitely one of my favorite singles of 2008. When I heard Flo Rida was going to have a song produced by Timbaland I knew it was gonna be hot. The intro and outro of the song are produced perfectly. Pretty unique song too. How many club songs do you know that are about Elevators?
"She got her nails bid, she got her hair bid She got a Gucci bag, her brand new outfit Stuck on my elevator, she on the second floor Now I want you to break it down, DJ turn it up some more Hey, dime piece girl; True Religion, Ed Hardy Little mama twerk that top model body South Beach piece on the back of that Ducati I'll bet you that brand new Ferrari"
10/10
4.Roll (feat. Sean Kingston)
When I saw the tracklist for this cd, this was one of the songs I was looking foward to. Two brand new artists with very unique voices on a track. What more could you ask for?
"Thousand dollar chips for ya thousand dollar hips, got these thousand dollar gifts need more thousand dollar tips, ill be your supplier, spinnit like a dryer, roll for me baby be my Nascar tire"
8.5/10.
5.Low
This track is of course the first single. You can't go wrong with T-Pain on the hook. This is one of those songs you get tired of though. I don't think this song reflects the quality of the cd that well. Its a good song but there are so many better songs on the album. This song does get credit for making me interested in Flo Ridas album though. The way he spit the verse below made me want to hear more from him.
"Thats what I told her, her legs on my shoulder, I knew it was over, that henni and cola got me like a soldier she ready for rover, i couldn't control her, so lucky on me I was like a clover, shawty was hot like a toaster sorry but I had to fold her, like a pornagraphy poster, she showed her"
7.5/10.
6.Priceless (feat. Birdman)
This is a really really dope track. Flo Rida's flow is a bit different on this from previous songs. The only thing that keeps this song from being better is Birdman. His verse is horrible. Flo Rida is spitting his fast flow all over the track and then Birdman comes in and starts rapping slow as hell. It Sounds really dumb. This song has grown on me over time. At first I couldn't stand it all. Flo Rida's beginning bars are on point.
"Pulled up out the projects Hustling as the object you aint talkin cash then you better switch the topic bitch n!gga stop it go ahead and cop it money in the bag call it takin out the garbage"
7/10
7.Ms. Hangover
This is a very creative song. I love the idea behind it. Flo Rida talks about girls hanging him over, and different parts of their bodies as different alcoholic beverages.
Chorus
"She had Hennessy hips, and Belve' eyes Grey Goose on her lips, and cognac thighs I'm hungover (hungover) from Ms. Hangover (Hangover) She had a bubble like Cris', Patron all night Had one mo' sip, too drunk to drive I'm hungover (hungover) from Ms. Hangover (Hangover)"
9/10
8.Still Missin
This is hands down my favorite song on the album. The chourus is one of the most unique choruses I've heard in a while. Only someone like Flo would come out with a song like this. Flo Rida talks about girls and himself as tools in a shed.
Chorus
"My lawnmower home, but my hoe's still missin', My rake's in the shed, but my hoe's still missin', Plow in the world, but my hoe's still missin', . I'm 'bout to lose my head 'cause my hoe's still missin, like it's greener on the other side"
"That hoe cost me my job, I'm afraid I shoulda learned mo' about the business. A hoe is good for diggin', I shoulda know this from the beginnin'"
10/10
9. In the Ayer (feat. Will.I.Am)
This is another great club record. This was his 3rd single and its got a really catchy hook.
"There I go here I go yeah thats my song DJ bring it back I'm in my zone I get paid for them couple bonez The next wop until the early morn"
8/10.
10.Me & U
Every rap record has got to have it's love song and this is it. This is one of my least favorite songs but it fits in with the album pretty good. I gotta admit Flo kills the entire last verse. I couldn't go without posting all of it.
"I got your name tattooed You think that's enough for me to go nuts like cashews Not my soul, like we be callin' black fool I mean damn who knows, you prolly fucked another dude I gave you that rose, that ring when I proposed to you Got rid of my gold teeth, 'cause your mom and them, oops And shot at them fools who touched your brother, now Boo And now you gon' tell me we should slow it down, who Not Flo Rida, I provided Campbells' soup When sick 'bout to die, I spoon-fed you Theraflu You gotsa be high, woman, I ain't 'bout to lose Get out this house, I pay tuition on ya school I mean to my knowledge, until the end it's Me and You"
8/10.
11.All My Life
Here's another good song. Flo Rida is talking about the bullshit he had to deal with all his life while making it to the top. Its got a great chorus as well. Its got a nice 2nd hook at the end that leads in to him starting every line with "All My Life".
"Sitting here, reminiscing, of all the nights i had to grind Taking chances with the system, I put my whole life on the line All my life know it ain't been sweet All my life i been in the streets All my life up against concrete All my life mama gave me the speech All my life somebody died every week All my life ducking the police All my life without soda i weeped All my life no first class seats"
8.5/10.
12.Don't Know How to Act (feat. Young Joc)
When I saw this song on the tracklist I was a bit disapointed. I'm not a fan at all of Young Joc. He's totally subpar to me. I was relieved to find out he only did the chours. He actually does a good job at it as well. Flo Rida changes it up by rapping even faster than normal. This song has a similar chorus to "Ack Like You Know" but I've come to enjoy it more than the ladder.
"I'm a doughnut n!gga like glaze On the couch like this my stage Cake money dont get a n!gga paid in Dade They probably see minimum wage My deal is ace of spades But I still like grape kool-aid I aint really got manners I'm probably just like a rave"
8.5/10.
13. Freaky Deaky (feat. Trey Songz)
I love Trey Songs on features. He's a really great singer. Probably one of my top 5 rnb singers. I really don't like this song though. It's a little bit too soft for me. Flo even raps slower on this song.
"Yeah I know you probably got a man But yousa hottie long legs like kalamari look so tasty tasty"
7.5/10
14.Money Right (feat. Rick Ross & Brisco)
Every album also needs a song with a group of rappers throwing out hot verses back to back. This is one of them. Flo Rida starts the song out with a dope verse.
"Everythings saved gotta walk in safe Treadmill rappers still runnin in place All these meals I can share my plate Flo Rida full yeah I already ate"
Rick Ross has a hilarious verse in this song. His line at the end of his rap cracks me up everytime. This has got to be the fastest I've ever heard him rap. His flow here is exactly like Project Pat's.
"Gotta problem n!gga holla I'ma holla ima solve it My revolver blocka blocka Your impalla bell hopper Ima shopper nonstoppa All this shit that ima coppa Suckin dick you cant stoppa doin tricks with big poppa"
8.5/10
Final Score:
8.4/10
Alot of people probably don't understand Why I even included this cd in my top 5. I enjoy all types of music as well as all types of hip hop. Sure this is your typical poppy club rap but Flo Rida's flow makes it worth a listen. He keeps you entertained throughout the whole cd. All the beats go great with his voice. It's definitely worth checking out. Don't base the cd on the songs "Low" or "In the Ayer." There are way better songs than those on the cd.

15.Make A Wish 16.Gotta Eat 17.Birthday 18.Radio 19.Birthday (Remix) [feat. Rick Ross & Brisco]
Been listening to a bunch of Ja Rule lately, so this weeks music video comes from his first album Venni Venni Vecci. This was at a time where Ja was at his prime. I read on Youtube that this video was a promo for his album. Hype Williams directed it and it reminds me of the opening to the movie Belly he directed. I really hope he can come out with a sucessful album again. That leaked version of The Mirror that came out was amazing. Rumor has it, that he's working on Venni Venni Vecci Part 2. That would definitely be dope.
Don't sleep on these hot new unsigned artists. They're the next to blow. Vote for your favorite song here. Also while your there check out their mixtape and music video download sections!

This weeks single is a new song from Obie Trice. Apparently 50 cent was originally meant for the chorus. It's a pretty dope song, and it shows that O. Trice still has it. I can't wait for his new album, Bottoms Up. It's probably going to be his best yet.
Here is volume 1 of all the singles of the week from 2008. Next years will be 52 tracks but this one is only 16. This is because I started with only 16 weeks left of the year. I spent a long time on this cover in photoshop. I know it's not the best but I'm improving. I'm sure you can tell my favorite rapper by the number of times he appears. I'm gonna try to add a little more diversity to next years Mixtape.

This weeks video is a bonus track from Jay-Z's third cd Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter. It was also on Beanie Sigel's first album The Truth. Its the second song Jay-Z came out with that sampled a song from the movie Annie. I prefer this song over "Hard Knock Life".
Finally the first album review of my Top 5 of 2008 is here! For my first review I had to review one of the cds that fell under everyone's radar. This album is of course Pacewon & Mr. Green - The Only Color That Matters Is Green. It's an album featuring New Jersey rapper Pacewon and new producer Mr. Green. This easily goes down as the best produced Pace album to date.
1. Four Quarters
This is the opening track of the album. It starts off with an intro that sums up the whole cd.
"You're black, I'm white, this is green. When making a business decision, the only color that matters is green."
This song is about making money as well as how it is in the hoods of New Jersey. It's a Great opening song. When I first heard this song I knew this album was going to be something special.
"Generic canned goods free cheese and food stamps people run in the street like they in boot camp pigs on patrol hoes on the stroll the clockers outside on the block aint wearing gold"
9/10.
2. Children Sing
This song is easily one of my favorites from the cd. Mr. Green throws in a sample of Jewish kids singing. I remember him saying he made this beat to show people his background.
"Before I pull up and park and bust in your apartment Ima just perm my hair like Al Sharpton And get a picket sign to protest your flow next Your little pussy rhymes need kotex."
Pace spits his witty rhymes all over this track and it fits with the beat very well.
9.5/10.
3. The Eye Of A Needle
This track is a laid back track with a nice piano loop. Pace is talking about turning time back and treating people better than he had.
"Its been a long time coming I've seen a lot of evil Felt a lot pain and I've lost a lot of people Did a couple things that I really didnt need to Hurt a couple people that I really didnt mean to If I could turn time back I would treat em regal Matter of fact I'd treat everybody equal Then my world might just be so peacefull Then I wouldn't view it through the eye of a needle"
8/10.
4. I Need Money
This is my favorite track off the CD! The beat is absolutely insane. Mr. Green did a great job with it. I love how it changes during the chorus and when Pace raps. Pace raps over it perfectly. This song is all about needing money and getting it.
"Swiss bank accounts Instead of Wachovia Chauffeurs picking my homies up My mother got a castle like a queen And I'm riding Like a gangsta with a lean Ridin like a gangsta with a dream Called the Wom Switch that from Warm to August To being mad rich number one on the forbes list With all this bread stacked up enormous Money earned from a flawless performance"
10/10.
5. Let a Shot Go
This beat reminds me of something T.I. would spit over. It actually kinda reminds me of that Song with Cam, Juelz, and T.I. called Royalty. I love it. Pace just keeps going in on this.
"The chamber of a 38 snub nose danger The only one that could save ya is the savior Crucified on the cross Born in a manger I coulda seen you grow up you still a stranger You like a first aid cadet and I'm a major I'm like a satellite dish and you a pager"
9/10.
6. Who I Am
This track is about Pace reminiscing about his past as well as Hip Hop's past. I like tracks like this. It helps a person know how times were before they were born or into hip hop.
"Drinkin pina coladas from sunny dale farms I used to back spin and pop lock my arms style and culture molded the man just like some putty that you hold in your hand"
8/10
7. Hip Hop
Before the album even came out I had the liberty of listening to three songs from it. They were "Children Sing," "Eye of a Needle," and "Hip Hop." Shoutout to Mr. Green for letting me peep these before a lot of people did. I really appreciated that. This was my favorite of the three. I remember promoting the hell out of the music video when it first came out. It's still in my signature on all the forums I go to as "Best Hip Hop Video of the Year." The chorus samples MC Shan saying "Hip Hop was set out in the dark they used to do it out in the park" I remember hearing this track and imagining how great this cd was going to be. This song is all about hip hop not being what it used to. I can identify with this in many ways.
"Raise the banner MC's its time for you to man up, Cock ya hammers, but instead of bustin off slugs we use grammar Rappers better dip like Juelz Santana Cause rappers nowadays are weak they want glamor while real mcees got more gifts than santa chillin like a bat in waynes manor It aint fair that we get to climb the same ladder"
"Your rhymes are weak I don't mean to insult ya Your an embarrassment to the culture So I don't want you representing me Your not ready mentally friends with the enemy but I'm the remedy quick as a centipede my own posse like its freaking 10 of me"
"Locked up behind bars I throw on my hiking boots and climb charts All from the skills I got I stay true to it You wanna take hip hop and neuter it I wanna take hip hop and tutor it Update all the rap heads new to it If i'm lonely add my freaking crew to it Write a jam and all my people move to it"
10/10.
8. Childhood (feat. Cymarshall Law, Mary Lou, & Kosha Dillz)
This is another track about pace reminiscing about his past. It features two other rappers Mr. Green had produced for in the past. Everyones verses were on point. I really liked Cymarshalls voice because it was very unique.
I love Kosha Dillz verse on this song.
"I'm watchin New Jack City Dreams of holding them hammers I asked my momma for a sandwich peanut butter bannana She had to throw the jelly out kids is acting jeally now Cops tell my celly now Them hatas tryin to sell me out"
8.5/10
9. So Straight
This song starts off with a story about Pace talking about his past with girls. It also deals with him talking about his past and where he is at now in his life. I love the chorus on this song pretty complicated. It's almost a tongue twister at times. We don't usually see those nowadays.
"I'm so straight my life is ok Fruits, vegetables, champagne and OJ Piff, cigarettes, little chick that go both ways Me and my crew just lamping the whole day Eatin shrimp pumpin the Old J's Nas, Redman KRS, and Nicole Wray Keisha Cole, Old Algero Tapes Like I said before little brother I'm so straight"
8.5/10
10. Won on Won
Every Pace album has had a song with "Won" somewhere in the title. This song continues the tradition. This song is about Pace asking a girl for a little "One on One" time.
"Your more hotter thant he second of June the sun shines when you step in the room I'm like yoooo I don't wanna sound like a jerk But you give me butterflys like the first day of work And the thought of losing you is like a wound it hurts Had me feelin more scareder than a hooker in church"
8/10
11. She Be So Cold
This is probably my second favorite song on this cd. Mr. Green kills it with that White Stripes sample from the song "The Denial Twist". This song is about Pace meeting a girl and what happens.
"She asked did I have a girl and I was like eheh Na ma you kidin if I did have a girl I would be true Standin by her side not here talkin to you Then she said I was sleeping she said mad dudes out here claim the same thing but be creeping I said not me though I'm so sick of sad love songs i'm like Ne-yo Lookin for a leo And If you not a leo then don't be a meano My heart is like a lock and you got the key yo"
10/10.
12. The Joker
Here is the track that I couldn't wait to hear. Pace had been mentioning it in various interviews. This was the Eminem diss song. This is his third diss song to him. Pace really feels that Em shoulda helped him out more than he did. I agree that Em was stupid in not doing so. Alot of people were saying that this was a really weak diss but I really enjoyed it.
"Whos the rude dood with the tude is it you I heard you been in rehab is it true cause thats my little vision of you is it screwed a vision where I take your spot is it crewd What freakin set you claim is it blue The freakin hate that you feel towards me is it new"
9/10
Overall this was a really amazing album. Mr. Greens beats vary greatly by track. None of them sound the same at all. He is one of the best up and coming producers. Pace Won has tons of subject matter and witty rhymes that make this cd worth listening to over and over.
Two dope videos in one day! I recently started getting into Slim Thug after hearing his first album for the first time last year. I can't wait for Slim Thugs new cd Boss of All Bosses. It's supposedly coming out March 24th. You gotta love the "I Run" sample in this from The Flock of Seagulls.
You know me, I Don't usually post New music videos on this blog unless I really like them. I'm so glad they made a video for this! And what better time! Just four more days before the most historical presidential inauguration ever. Jeezy he wanted the video to have a Fight the Power type of look. It turned out great.
This weeks single is a throwaway track from 50's upcoming album Before I Self Destruct. It's produced by DJ Premier. There is kinda a funny story surrounding it. In an interview DJ Premier talked about how he sent 50 a beat and he turned it down. People everywhere were talking about how dumb it was for 50 to turn down a beat by a legendary producer. I'm guessing 50 heard the talk and decided to do a freestyle over it. Its only one verse but it turned out pretty dope. I always end up liking his throwaway 1 verse tracks than some of the songs on his albums.
Today I turned 20 years old and it's about time! I'm finally done with the teenage years! Anyways I can't believe I didn't think of this song earlier today. How could I forget one of the best songs from last years best new artist? If you haven't heard Mail on Sunday shame on you!!
Flo Rida - Birthday [Remix] (feat. Rick Ross & Brisco)
This weeks video is one of my favorite Songs/Videos from The Notorious B.I.G. Such a great concept and it played out very well in the video. I haven't heard Ready 2 Die in a while. I think it's time I give it a spin again. That new movie about his life looks pretty cool, but I'll probably wait till it drops on DVD to see it.
Ok so the single of the week is a new song my friend N-EIGHT. Dude has really been impressing me lately. I'm not posting this because he told me to either. This shit is definitely single of the week material. It's amazing how much better he has gotten since his first song which he released less than a year ago. I know he'll go on to be something big. The beat he raps over is "Say You Will" off of Kanye West's classic album 808's and Heartbreak. N-EIGHT has a classic mixtape coming out in a month or so called Purple Brain Freeze. I'll be posting it up on here so definitely check back.
The speculations were right. Dr. Dre and 50 cent were supposed to be on the song. I heard that radio stations are playing this song left and right. It was confirmed by Dre a couple weeks ago to be made for Detox. As you remember the original version leaked with all Eminem verses. This new version has Eminem spitting the same first verse, Dre spitting Eminem's second verse, and 50 Cent spitting a new verse. The third Eminem verse from the original was left out so I added it to the end in my extended version.I also made a version without 50 cent. All versions are posted below in CDQ/DIRTY/NODJ.

First Music Video Weekly of 2009! This time the music video is from the Young Gunz first album Tough Luv. I remember how excited I was to hear this album after hearing their previous single "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" from State Property's The Chain Gang Vol. 2. This album was amazing and had great features from Jay-Z, Cam, and Juelz. Too bad their second cd was no where near as good. Looks like Young Chris is working on his solo album now, but soon afterwards I heard the new Young Gunz albume would be out.
Sorry about the delay fellas. I totally forgot with all my work and shit. But anyways here is your single of the week. Jay really went in on this remix, much like he did on the "Put On" remix earlier last year. BP3 is gonna be another classic!
Here is another tape I made for my friend. I really like the way this came out as well. By all means spread around this link. Hopefully I can get some buzz for my blog.
I put together this Advance of Busta's new cd for my friend who hasn't heard any of Busta's recent songs due to being without internet for around a year. Anyways I think it turned out really good and all the tracks flow together really well. And it should seeing how I spent like 2-3 hours working on this. The cover is from Blessed, which is what his cd was going to be called when he was on Aftermath earlier last year.
