Music Video Weekly # 21

This weeks music video is from Do or Die's 2005 album D.O.D.. I remember loving this joint back then and I felt it didn't blow up as much as it should. Do or Die is a pretty dope group. I love their Greatest Hits album.

Single of the Week # 16

Crook stays grindin hard! He just announced that he's bringing back the Hip Hop Weekly's and that B.O.S.S. (Beginning of Something Serious) is going to be a FREE download! Can't wait. Hopefully dude finally gets a good deal on the table after doing all of this. Crook is still a beast! He's my most listened to rapper on last.fm thanks to all the Weekly's.

Run DMC - Christmas Is

While waiting for my Mom and Sister to finish cooking breakfast so we can open up our presents I turned on MTV Hits. And to my surprise they played this video. I never even knew it existed! This was a great sequel to their first Christmas song. I actually like this one more.

Single of the Week # 15

Gotta love these Stat Quo songs talkin about his past on the math. This dude has been screwed over so many times its not even funny. Come on labels sign this dude already so he can put an album out. He's better than a shit load of southern rappers blowing up at the moment. Not only is he great, but he has progressed so much since 2003 when he was signed.

Stat Quo - In California

Music Video Weekly # 19

This weeks video is from one of my favorite Duo's in Hip Hop. Tak and Ryu are known as Styles of Beyond collectively. I first heard them on the Fort Minor cd and I loved their verses so I decided to see if they had anything else worth listening to. I soon found out that I had heard their song Subculture on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 and that both of their albums were great. This is a great song from a great album. Definitely check out Megadef. Also don't forget their first album 2000 Fold.

Styles of Beyond - Be Your Dog

Smilez (of Smilez & Southstar) - Jockin Smizzy

Smilez and Southstar hold Orlando down all day everyday. I've been listening to these dudes ever since I heard their first album. Amazing group of rappers. Still waiting on that second cd. It seems they're trying to branch off now to see who blows up first so they can put each other on. That's a pretty good idea if you ask me. Anyways here's a dope freestyle from Smilez.

This weeks single is a track by J.R. Writer. I've been listening to a lot of dude lately and he's been killing it. Politics and Bullshit is one of my favorite albums this year. Anyway's he disses Max B on this track and basically ethers that fool. Look out for Cinecrack dropping the beginning of next year.

Single of the Week # 13

The single of the Week is coming a day early bitches! It's a new track from Eminem. that's on this new Big Mike mixtape called DJ Big Mike & Neptune Present: 4th Quarter Pressure. Some people are saying that part of this was written for Dre, which would make sense, especially the first verse. Earlier today it was announced eminem was working on a music video in an undisclosed location. A couple of Pictures were snapped as well. Could this be his first single? Who knows, but its crazy! Eminem is back bitches!! Anyways This version doesn't have that stupid intro on it and has less dj than other versions out.

Music Video Weekly # 17

This week's music video is from Nas' album Gods Son.
It's definitely one of my favorite joints off the album. As I had just got into hip hop at the time, this was one of the first Nas songs I ever heard.

Nas - Made You Look
